Robert Rosa


Robert Rosa was born in New York City and raised in the Bronx, NY with his sister. His parent’s, Genevieve Barral and Adolfo Rosa, were born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York.  He attended Metropolitan Vocational High School in New York City during 1962 to 1965.  After graduating high school. Robert joined the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969.  He was initiated into the local on February 25, 1969.

Robert became a Journeyman in 1974. He received his Master Electrician Licence 1979 Robert held the following positions throughout his career in Local #3:  Sub-Forman, Forman and General Forman..  He also completed the 10 hours OSHA Safety Course, Citizenship Responsibility Class and the Lock- Out and Tag -Out Course.

Robert has been a member of S.I.ES. since 1994 and served as Committeeman , Board of Director and Advisor. Bobby also serves as a Board member of The Jose Lopez Memorial Scholarship Fund. Robert was a member of the Colony Club and is currently a member of the North New Jersey Chapter Local Union #3 IBEW Retirees Association.

Robert currently resides in Monroe Township, New Jersey with his wife Mary Ann. His hobbies include reading the Wall Street Journal and researching investment opportunities, fishing, swimming and dancing.  Robert has three children, Robert II, Danielle, Ashley and two Grandsons, Alexander and Sebastian Robert.
